Wonderful old Gay 90's Mantle Clock by American Manufacturer, Sessions, circa 1890's. Black wooden case with cast metal trim, Cast metal has oxidized but it gives it a nice old word look. Original side handles and feet. Dial is painted celluloid and is in excellent condition. Over the age the case has lost it's original enamel luster and it does have age appropriate nicks on the edges. This is a great decorator clock.

The movement is an 8-day movement and strikes the hours on the hour and once on the half-hour. It has a deep rich gong sound.
